Because self-care is the best care!

Look, let's admit, 2020 was a rough year for everybody right? But that was two years ago and now is the time to move on, press forward, and that all starts with taking better care of yourself. Since 2020, I believe self-care was talked about and encouraged more than ever. It wasn't something I took seriously but slowly began to realize how essential self-care was and I told myself I would do better. Besides, with all the craziness going on in the world, we all deserve to love on ourselves a little more. But what is self-care? I'm glad you asked.

Self-care is defined as the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health. While many people will probably have their own definition for self-care, I define self-care as doing anything that brings you joy. So if it makes you happy, DO IT! Whether it be a walk, a jog, spa day, gym day, watching a favorite movie, going to your favorite coffee shop, meditation, whatever. If you've visited our website and social media sites within the last few weeks, we've changed things up a bit and want to make our focus on self-care. Pouring into yourself first makes you a better you and then from that alone, you'll be better for yourself and for the people you love and care for the most. Remember, nobody can pour from an empty cup!
